This blog has covered ohlife as an easy online option to maintain a private daily life/prayer journal in an earlier post. For those looking for a similar service with more sociability, there's a cool option called Daileez.
In Daileez, the aspect of sociability starts from the point of signup itself - you can use your Facebook login credentials apart from creating a fresh user ID. The registration form also gives you the option to make your journal public or private (this option can be changed later using the "settings" tab).
A unique feature with Daileez is the ability to “iconize” your day. You can simply choose an icon to describe your experiences during a particular day. A text description is purely optional.
Another standout and interesting feature is the ability to lookup statistics of yourself and others. According to Daileez, “Have you ever wondered what you were doing on the same day last year? Daileez statistics gives you the ability to look back on your life. You'll find out how often you did your favorite activities, what other things you experienced, how was your mood, your emotions etc. Which month your mental activity peaked and which month you perhaps weren't thinking at all. There is a precise overview of all your daily activities and those of your Daileez friends in numbers as well as icons.
What were your Daileez friends doing yesterday? What was the world doing? Daileez icons offer you interesting statistics that you might not have otherwise. For example, how well did people sleep last night? Did people between the ages of 20 - 29 travel more than those aged 40 - 49? Statistics are available not only from yesterday, but retroactively from any day since the start of Daileez!”
Apart from these, a standard search feature to search past entries and options to connect your journal with your Facebook and Twitter accounts to send updates to these sites and a HTML widget (for public journals only) to publish your journal in your website/blog are provided.
For mobile device users, you are in luck only if you are an iPhone user - an iPhone app is already available. I wish an android app is also provided soon for better reach.
