Here’s another free resource to get media for Church. It’s called Reel Worship - a community sharing site providing multimedia content and resources for Christian usage.
Reel Worship is run by the same folks behind FreeFoto, another cool resource for your free image needs.
Once you register, you get access to all of their multimedia content – worship backgrounds, video loops and other pictures. Pictures and videos in high resolution are also available.
Strangely though, unless you register, you can’t access anything – so even if you simply want to see what’s available, you got to register first.
Anyways, I wanted to take a look around, so I registered myself.
The content is user-sharing driven, so you can upload your own media that you might want to share with other users.
The Photo section displays the images in grid arrangement spread across the whole page. I did get a slideshow option, but it displays the entire collection of available photos. Ditto for the video section.
Both photos and videos can be sorted by ‘Latest’ (default), ‘Top Rated’, ‘Most Popular’ and Random. Some kind of categorization of the content by keyword, theme, resolution quality etc. is sorely missed.
