As worship leaders, we are always on the lookout for fresh songs to use when we worship, right? Apart from big name established songwriters, there is vast world of independent worship artists out there. Many of them offer their music online as free downloads with chord/lead charts. If you take the time to do some searching, you will discover some cool new worship songs that can easily be learnt by your worship team for usage in your worship sessions - easy, because most of them offer their songs with lyrics and chords too. Here are 5 sites you can start with:

image 4Praise.com This sites features more than 4,000 free worship songs most of them with chord charts. You can search for songs by Title, Author, Lyrics and Type (praise, worship, encouragement). The 'Artists' tab lists the song contributors by name and can be ordered by number of votes to find out the most liked songs.

Worship Land features free worship songs under two tabs on the home page - 'popular' and 'new arrivals.' I saw some big names like Michael Gungor and Holland Davis too. The 'Search Results' tabs lists songs in alphabetical order which can be sorted by popularity and vintage.
